(Santa Monica, CA) -- May 20, 2009 — New innovative gallery owner, Jeanie Madsen of the Jeanie Madsen Gallery located on the classic “Ocean Avenue” a top the Santa Monica bluffs, describes her gallery as a "Museum Boutique". The very first of its kind. Not your typical gallery, this unique and inviting space showcases an eclectic conclave of contemporary artists. From Madsen's own Avant-Garde fashion to steam punk mixed media to serene abstract canvas to beautiful natural artifacts. The boutique also features one of a kind t-shirts, cards, candles, journals, jewelry and other unique items. Madsen is proud to present these hand selected Los Angeles artists to her international clientele.
The "Museum Boutique" concept is the brainchild of Jeanie Madsen. This fashionista is an inspired artist herself and has quite an impressive background. Madsen plans to take her education from NYC's Fashion Institute Technology (FIT) to the next level and beyond. She is thrilled to combine her edgy 'semi-deconstructed' "SewJeannie" designs, with this handpicked ensemble of Artists. The concept of her fashion is natural, flattering, artistic and feminine. Madsen designs for the creative woman.
More than a gallery, this "Museum Boutique" offers warm hospitality with an exceptional staff that welcomes you with a great knowledge of all their artists and products. When asked what the term "Museum Boutique" means, Madsen simply replies, "it's a blend of art and fashion of today with fossils of yesterday. You also may even learn something new about art. But unlike museums, everything here is for sale." For example, just arrived from Alaska, a million year old tusk (fossil) from a Wooly Mammoth that's 9 1/2' long. This gallery is a concentration of many arts.
JMGallery (Jeanie Madsen Gallery) is an Experience. It is interactive, ever changing and on any given day you may walk into live music, live painting, live exhibition or Madsen herself designing in the studio.
